Dear friends and family,
We are getting married and you are very special to us and we would like you to be there.
Between 2018 and 2019, we left our hometowns in Colorado and flew halfway across the world to Prague, separately and without having ever met each other.
We met in Ankali shortly after, and throughout the following years, we worked on a lot of projects together; a creative partnership which evolved into a beautiful friendship. We eventually ended up falling in love.
Last August we got engaged, and we immediately knew that we didn't want to have a traditional wedding. As we wrote a list of all the people who we would like to celebrate our love with, the list grew and grew. If you are reading this, it means you have made an impact on us in one way or another.
This year will also be the end of our time in Prague, and we want to celebrate the end of this era with you.
we met through our involvement in creating spaces for people to dance to music on a big sound system, and we have met most of the people in our lives this way, so what other way to celebrate than to get everyone who has made a mark on us together for the perfect weekend full of music and art and dancing?
the weekend will be split into two parts:
on friday july 24th at 17:30, backed by the moravian hills, we will have a wedding ceremony. following the ✶i dos✶, there will be a short reception with a formal dinner and drinks. we want everyone to look their best here. the dresscode? mystical elegance.
traditionally, this is where a party would happen, but this occasion calls for something a bit bigger than a party…
we know expectations are high here, so we're assembling a team of some of our favorite light magicians from prague and beyond. more info soon ;)

the venue is surrounded by nature in every direction, including a large campsite only a short walk from the main event area. the campsite is a bring-your-own-gear situation, but showers, drinking water, and charging stations will be provided.
if sleeping under the stars surrounded by friends isn't quite your thing, there are a few great hotels about a 30 minute walk from the venue:
although the venue is about 1.5 hours from prague, public transport connections take more than twice as long, so we recommend one of the following options:
shuttleshuttle buses to and from the venue will be available for a small price. if you would like this option, please let us know in advance through the rsvp form, and we will be in touch soon with more information.
drivethere is plenty of parking on site for cars and camper vans. if you would like to drive, let us know on the RSVP form and we will be in touch with directions.
late july in the czech republic can get very hot, so plan accordingly. for the ceremony on friday we'd love for everyone to look their best — the dress code is mystical elegance, so take it as an opportunity to express yourself.
for the rest of the weekend it's a festival, so dress comfy: good sneakers, a small bag, a water bottle (pro tip: get a holder for it), hat, sunglasses, sunscreen. we also recommend bringing a hoodie and a rain jacket just in case, though we're hoping for the best.
food & drinksbreakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served on saturday and sunday, and breakfast again on monday morning. we recommend bringing some extra snacks too. there will be a free water station throughout the weekend, and a bar serving drinks at discounted prices.
the wedding on friday is on us — the ceremony, dinner, drinks, and a few surprises.
for the festival (saturday and sunday), we've worked out that it costs us around 1500 czk per person to put it on — covering food for the whole weekend, the sound system, lighting equipment, water, and showers. rather than charging a ticket price, we're simply asking everyone to contribute toward these costs. that's the number we have in mind, but we trust you.
if you would like to come but you truly cannot afford it, don't hesitate to reach out. and if you'd like to contribute a little more to make it possible for everyone to come, that means the world to us.
